About
1208 Room is a unique private event space above Bar Saeso in Pendleton. Enter through a separate entrance from Grear Alley and take one flight up a candlelit stairway to the private second floor. 1208 Room consists of a billiards room with an antique pool table looking out over Sycamore Street, a comfortable lounge with modular seating looking out over Pendleton, and its own convenient private bathroom. There is a large TV in each room, perfect for watching sporting events, movies, or hosting a casual meeting, as well as a Sonos speaker system for playing the music of your choice.

Q: How many people does 1208 fit comfortably?
A: 35 max
Q: How much time will I have in 1208 Room?
A: 4 hours for a full event any day of the week, or 2 hours for our happy hour special Mon-Wed.
Q: Can I extend my event time?
A: Longer parties may be booked in advance for an additional hourly fee. Parties may occasionally be extended the night of the event for an additional fee, but additional time is never a guarantee without booking in advance.
Q: Can I bring in my own decorations?
A: Yes, however extra time to set up or tear down decor before/after the event is not included in the standard 4-hour booking. Discuss any additional time/access requirements with your event coordinator. Absolutely no confetti :)
Q: Is food available?
A: Yes. Ask for our latest menus featuring beautiful cheese/charcuterie boards and other snacks from local food partners. Please note that 1208 room is not set up for full-service catering or dining. Our menus are designed to provide snacks/appetizers, not complete meals.
Q: Can I bring in my own food?
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks for an additional fee. Please be mindful of minimizing the risk of stains/spills as the host will be responsible for any damage to designer furniture, the antique pool table, rugs, etc. Bringing in a cake for celebrations will be free of charge.
Q: Can I bring my own drinks?
A: No. All drinks must be purchased from Bar Saeso. If you have a special request that isn’t on Bar Saeso’s menu, discuss it with your event coordinator in advance and we will always do our best to accommodate.
Pricing
Pricing for 1208 Room starts at $850 (including booking, room rental, and cleaning fees), plus a $500 beverage minimum and 20% service charge on all beverages. A security deposit is collected prior to the event and promptly returned pending no damage occurs. Rental rates vary depending on the day of the week and are subject to change. While the host is responsible for all fees, guests are welcome to open separate tabs at the event and all guest beverage purchases will contribute to the beverage minimum.
Pre-Ordering
Every event includes a dedicated cocktail server who will take orders and deliver drinks from Bar Saeso to your party for the length of the event. In addition, ask our event coordinator about beer, wine, bottle service, and batched cocktail packages available for pre-purchase. We’re happy to have the space stocked with the beverages of your choice upon arrival for a self-service experience. All food must be ordered prior to the event as well.
